The microscopic image of the leaf trace below was taken at 30x. The leaf trace measures 3.8 mm at its widest point. Individual tracheids make a C-shape within the leaf trace.
The microscopic image below shows an individual root within the mantle of the specimen above. The image was taken at 40x. The root measures 950 microns in diameter.
