Specimen Ridge Trailhead
Mary Klass and Jim Mills at the trailhead leading to Specimen Ridge. This hike begins at the pullout on the south side of the road 5.3 miles east of Tower Junction and 0.2 miles west of the Lamar River bridge on the Northeast Entrance Road. We used this trail to hike to Specimen Ridge, but it should not be confused with the Specimen Ridge Trailhead (Anderson & Anderson, 2000, p. 53).
